As Chairman of BakerTriangle, Steve Baker oversees the direction and operations of BakerTriangle in the Texas market. Steve started his career in 1975 as an estimator and project manager for Triangle Plastering while managing the drywall operations. As Baker Drywall grew, Steve bought out the other partners and split Baker Drywall from Triangle Plastering. Having served as VP and President of Baker Drywall, he oversaw the growth of the company in the 80's and 90's. With the merger of Baker Drywall and Triangle Plastering, Steve assumed the role of Chairman.
Steve has served on the Board of ABC North Texas, ASA North Texas and TEXO. He also served as Chairman for TEXO and President of ASA locally. Steve has also been President of the Association of Walls and Ceiling (AWCI).
Steve has been married to Carol for 45 years and has one daughter, Allison (married to Taylor) and two sons, Bryan (Hilary) and Clark (Genevieve). Steve and Carol also have four grandchildren - Luke, Hudson, Ryder and Ruby.
Steve has a love for thoroughbred race horses, racing across the southwest.
