Johnny Barnes

President of BakerTriangle Bryan/College Station

Johnny Barnes is the President of the Bryan/CollegeStation market. He launched his career in the construction industry over 34 years ago and during this time he held various roles in the drywall and acoustics industry while also receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Dallas Baptist University. In 1994, he joined Baker Drywall as a Project Manager and led the Dallas office from 2006 to 2021. Johnny’s experience in College Station includes the Texas A&M Kyle Field Redevelopment project, Corp Dorms renovation, 21st Century Building, Medical Research and Education Building, Rellis Center for Infrastructure Renewal, and several Bryan ISD projects, to name a few.

 

Johnny’s lifelong passion for construction is evident, as he is very active within the industry. Since 2014, he has been a proud member of the Association of Wall and Ceiling Industry Board of Directors. Johnny served on the Board of TEXO in Dallas/Ft. Worth From 2015-2018 and also served as the past President of the DFW Drywall and Acoustical Association.

 

Johnny has been married to his wife Donna Barnes for more than three decades and they are the proud parents to three girls, Corie Patton who resides in Florida with her husband Emery and their twins Hudson and Hadley and other sibling Hazen, Kelli Fritsch who lives in central Texas with her husband Matt and son Easton, and Randi who lives with her husband Zach in College Station, TX.
