Changing the landscape of this East Texas university campus, the new University of Texas at Tyler College of Business and Technology Building is an alluring mixture of brick, glazing, and metal panel. The Smith Group designed this 140,000 SF four-story building which was completed in July of 2018. Under the guidance of JE Dunn Construction, BakerTriangle performed the plate panel and the formed panel scope of work on the project. This $56 million dollar building included two unique colors on the plate panels provided by Dri-Design. The main facade included a soffit transition feature that was a wood-grain look produce on 0.080” aluminum panels. The rooftop screen wall was wrapped with a mixture of Dri-Design panels and a formed metal corrugated panel produced by Berridge Manufacturing. Total install, roughly 45,000 square feet of panels.
